The postponement of Mayweather’s jail term gives another hope to millions of boxing fans to witness the most awaited fight and it was expected to be happening this May 5, 2011 between the Filipino boxing superstar Manny “pacman” Pacquiao and undefeated American superstar Floyd “money” Mayweather are the top personalities in the world of boxing The Pacquiao-Mayweather believed to set a record in the world of sports and boxing itself.
Nevada Judge postponed Mayweather’s jail term on June, giving him a chance to fulfill his contractual obligation to fight on May 5. But according to some reports Mayweather is not fighting the Filipino Boxing superstar this May and it was confirmed by Top Rank Pacqiao’s promoter.
Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum in his recent interviews says that Mayweather is fighting “somebody else” in May and it wouldn’t be Pacquiao, who is being eyed to make his return to the ring on June 9 or June 16 against an opponent yet to be named.
Tim Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Lamont Peterson and Miguel Cotto those are the names considered for Pacquiao’s next opponent. Bob Arum will meet Pacquiao to present and discuss some fight proposal.
