The boxing match between the Filipino boxing hero Manny “pacman” Pacquiao and the outspoken American boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was been called, described and tagged as the most anticipated, mega-bucks, mouthwatering, mega-fight and so many other, but for me I will start to call it a dream fight.
Why I prefer to call a dream fight? it’s because until this time no arrangements and negotiations between the two parties. Even though, they say that they are both willing and issued positive statements and sounds that the fight will happen soon, but it’s not enough and I think they only used to say that in the purpose to catch public attention and let the public have their own expectation and speculation.
I think calling it a dream fight makes sense because it only hangs-up there, no assurance that will happen in real. So let us accept the fact that its only a dream and it will not be happen and maybe all they want for us was to keep on imagining, who will be the winner, could be a belt-to-belt fight or a boring or an explosive fight, just like when we are dreaming.
Efforts have been made to make the fight that is expected to earn atleast hundred million dollars. And it looks like one punch-away that the fight will take place after Pacquiao’s camp agreed to the Olympic-style blood testing as Mayweather’s camp demanded. But it looks like Mayweather’s camp will not run out of alibis, this time they insists for a bigger share on fight revenue.
So, let us consider Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight as one of our dreams. A dream that everybody— and it was just a gossip that you can hear everywhere. They used Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight as part of their marketing strategy and it looks like they are successful for their intention.
