The rivalry of Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference is going strong. Both Maimi Heat and Chicago Bulls are strongly competed for the number one post in the East. Filled with push and takedowns it’s a physical Thursday game between Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls is just like Game one of Eastern Conference finals.

“It was a physical, competitive game against two teams that defend,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “That tends to lead to a little bit more passion. And nobody was really backing down.”

“Typical Eastern Conference basketball game in late April. It was a good win. Both teams had to fight though some injuries. Everybody who was out there obviously was competing.” Erick Spoelstra said.

The Miami Heat has a chance to be on top in the Eastern Conference by defeating the Chicago Bulls, which situated in number post in the Eastern Conference standing. Without Chris Bosh the Miami Heat managed to win over the Chicago Bulls 83-72 at American Airlines Arena.

Again Miami’s Big Three was not complete so they played with only two superstars left in their line-up, but it’s enough to beat the reigning number one in the Eastern Conference Chicago Bulls. MVP candidate LeBron James makes double-double figures to led Miami with 27 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and provided six assists while Dwyane Wade contributed 18 points and gave five assist.

“This is what the postseason is all about,” James said. “Both teams struggling to score offensively, and defensively, two very good defensive teams. It’s a possession game. That’s what happens in the postseason. The game slows down. Not many fast-break points. You’ve got to work for every attempt, work for every shot.”

Chicago Bulls played without the reigning MVP Derrick Rose because of injuries (ankle), though Joakim Noah make a double-double figures for Chicago wth his 15 points and 10 rebounds, but John Lucas led Chicago scorer with his 16 points, Loul Deng added 11 points and Carlos Boozer contributed 10 points, but its not enough to beat the Miami Heat and to secured the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

“We wanted it bad, but they wanted it more,” Joakim Noah of Chicago said. “That can’t happen.”

Chicago Bulls falls into 47-16 has games with Dallas, Indiana and Cleveland left, while Miami Heat comes-up with 45-17 still has matchups with Washington (twice), Houston and Boston.

“This season’s been a long, short year,” Wade said. “But this is the time of the year we all love and enjoy.”
